Jannatul Baqi before it was demolished by the evil Aale Saud in 1925 (1345 AH)
Salamun alay kum,
The old picture you see above is of Madina’s Jannatul Baqi. Under this piece of holy land, according to some narrations, rests the apple of Holy Prophet’s (s.a.w.a.) eyes, his daughter Janabe Fatemah Zahra (s.a.) and his (s.a.w.a.) grandsons Imam Hasan Mujtaba (a.s.), Imam Zainul Abedeen (a.s.), and Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.). This piece of precious land is also the resting place of numerous companions of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and some of Ummul Momineen.
But the Nasibi Sauds — the followers of Abu Sufiyan and Mu’awiyah — demolished the tombs in 1925 (incidentally on the 8th of Shawwal, 1345) and the picture below shows the current state of Jannatul Baqi.

THOSE WHO BEHAVE ARROGANTLY ON THE EARTH IN DEFIANCE OF RIGHT – THEM WILL I TURN AWAY FROM MY SIGNS: EVEN IF THEY SEE ALL THE SIGNS, THEY WILL NOT BELIEVE IN THEM; AND IF THEY SEE THE WAY OF RIGHT CONDUCT, THEY WILL NOT ADOPT IT AS THE WAY; BUT IF THEY SEE THE WAY OF ERROR, THAT IS THE WAY THEY WILL ADOPT.
